What it is:
100% niacinamide in its purest form.
This allows for the niacinamide to easily dissolve within any water-based serums or creams. Niacinamide (also known as vitamin B3) is an active ingredient that has multiple benefits for skin, ranging from balancing sebum and strengthening the skin barrier through to targeting enlarged pores, irregular skin texture, and excessive shine.
- Mix a quarter scoop of the spoon with a water-based serum in the palm of your hand.
- The powder can be used in the morning and/or evening, and should be applied after cleaning and before moisturising.
- Avoid contact with eyes, if contact occurs rinse thoroughly with water.
- Do not mix with formulations with a pH of 5 or lower.
Contraindications:
- We do not recommend combining Niacinamide with topical Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid, Ethylated L-Ascorbic Acid and Vitamin C derivatives) in the same regimen.
- If Vitamin C is used as part of your skincare regimen, we advise to apply them at alternate times with this formula (ideally Vitamin C in the PM and this formula in the AM).
- We do not recommend dissolving Niacinamide Powder in Direct Acids. Please refer to the Mixing Guide for guidance in selecting suitable dissolving bases.
